VFX Artist
SpookiCG is looking to build up its core VFX outsourcing team for our many projects. We’re looking for various profiles from graduate to mid-level vfx artist with a portfolio that shows adequate game VFX work. The work is for full-time remote on CET timezone with a margin of +/- 4hours.
The ideal candidate would have :
Unreal Engine experience in VFX, technical arts or blueprints
a technical arts bachelor’s degree or other vfx related studies
Previous work in VR, console or mobile is a plus
Good written and spoken English
Experience producing optimised vfx assets and integrating them in game engines
An open-minded approach to work and human relations
Respect for all gender & sexual identities, backgrounds, physical limitations and neurodivergences
Readiness to be mentored, open to feedback and criticism
Experience creating textures with their tool of choice
experience creating simple, optimised 3d models with any modelling software
Affinity with technical vfx creation tools such as Houdini, Embergen and the likes

Responsibilities:
Creating optimised particle systems
Written and/or nodal shader
Blocking and prototyping VFX
Working off of concepts or references
Bring more technical VFX solutions if capable such as VATs or tools
Optimising vfx assets
